Bike Peoria presents: 2024 Beers & Gears Pub Ride

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than riding a bicycle and making some fun stops along the way? This pub ride will start at Industry Brewing Company with registration from 11 a.m. until noon and then we’ll be making our way along the PPD Rock Island Greenway to the Village of Peoria Heights before heading back to Fox Pub for the after party which runs from 4-6 p.m.

Pub Ride Stops
-Registration and Stop #1: Industry Brewing (11 a.m. - noon)
-Stop #2: Tavern on Prospect in Junction City along with JC Pub (12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.)
-Stop #3: Pour Bros. Craft Taproom with lunch provided by Slow Hand BBQ in Peoria Heights (1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
-Stop #4: Parks on Tap in Bicycle Safety Town (2:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.)
-Stop #5: Fox Pub After Party (4 p.m. - 6 p.m.) with live music by BUTTA'

Event Registration Options

Lunch from Slow Hand BBQ is included in with the cost of registration (non-vegetarian and vegetarian lunches available).

$25 pre-registration price for Bike Peoria members (Basic or Premium). Discount code will be emailed to current members.

$30 pre-registration general admission price. Register online by 11:00 p.m. the night before the event.

$35 day of registration general admission price. For any last minute spur of the moment riders, this is the price for tickets at Beers & Gears registration table which opens at 11 a.m. the morning of the event.

Parking: The large lot to the north of Industry Brewing (start location) or the Fox Pub lot (finish location) is available for parking. Both lots are within walking distance or a short ride from one another. Please DO NOT park in the rows of parking closest to Fox Pub or Industry Brewing as we need to save spaces for their other customers throughout the day.

Bust’d Brewing will be brewing a special beer for the Beers & Gears 2024 event!

Bike Peoria will be hosting a pre-event Breakfast Ride to Last Chance for riders interested in extending the day of festivities! Meet at Industry Brewing by 9am if you want to join the optional breakfast ride.

At 5pm during the afterparty, prizes will be given away to registered riders (must be present to win). Pre-registration doubles your chances of winning.

Proceeds: Proceeds from Beers & Gears will go directly to support the educational and empowerment programs of Bike Peoria. Bike Peoria is a 501(c)3, volunteer run, non-profit organization that is focused on empowering more people to travel Peoria by bicycle. Together, we are working to make riding around Peoria safe, practical, and fun. Beers and Gears is our largest annual fundraiser.
